MWH currently has an opportunity for a Project Controls Manager to join the team in our High Wycombe offices.
Role Purpose:
To provide cost and scheduling services for all Project Management, Engineering, Construction and Construction Management work carried out on MWH projects as required. To collate, analyse and present cost and scheduling data in support of the management and reporting needs of Project Managers.
Principal accountabilities:
Preparation and Analysis of global data for Company Board Reports
Maintaining existing project control system standards & procedures and driving through improvements.
Ensuring that the quality of project control data is consistent across the whole of the programme
Maintain & manipulate of project control data to facilitate programme management efficiencies.
Prepare continuous improvement strategies and methodologies for project controls
Improving the project control understanding within other departments and how project control processes will help their business needs
To be successful in this role you will;
Possess excellent project control / project management experience with a previous management track record.
Have an understanding and previous heavy usage of Primavera project management software
Demonstrate an excellent understanding and usage of cost
Show experience in management systems, with proven skills in earned value analysis, actual cost collection, accruals, contingency, change control and risk management.
Operated in a design and Construction Management industry background
Commercial and organisational skills.

Good understanding of project work-flow
Excellent people management skills, liaising with site, project and office staff.
Resilient to Management pressure when declaring problems and issues
High level computer skills and a good understanding and working knowledge of Primavera (P6) Client Application and a good knowledge of integrated project management systems (IPMS) and how they are used in conjunction with Primavera.
Good communication skills are essential in the role including latest Project Management practices.
Other Requirements:
Regular liaison with the Site Manager and Project Manager over current and future progress against the schedule.
Attendance at Site Progress Meetings as and when required.
