Primary purpose of role
Contribute to the growing UK market by providing technical expertise in specialist areas of engineering. To be involved in the implementation and delivery of leading edge programmes and projects.
Support Project Managers and Team Leaders by providing technical expertise to ensure that projects are delivered to cost, schedule, technical and quality standards to meet both client and MWH expectation.
Job Description
Technical expertise in mathematical modelling and good working knowledge of relevant modelling packages, such as Synergee, Infoworks, Epanet or InfoWater.
Experience with water network hydraulic analysis modelling software, water demand analysis and water network planning studies.
Lead a team of Modellers, you will be involved in a variety of schemes to improve and enhance Water Networks.
Organise tender documents, evaluate tenders and contracts.
Plan, programme, co-ordinate and write reports for specific projects.
Maintain communication and develop ongoing contacts with clients as required.
Mentor and develop less senior members of the team.
Build relationships with new clients and key stakeholders.
Prepare cost estimates for modelling, project design and construction.
Able to undertake model calibration.
Using appropriate software to provide advice, solutions and successful project outcomes for clients.
Facilitate the exchange of ideas, concepts and skills throughout the company, through effective networking of staff, use of intranet etc.
