Primary Purpose of Job: To effectively lead a team of design engineers engaged on the optioneering and design of water and wastewater projects. This may include water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, pipelines, aqueducts and reservoirs. The scope of the projects may include civil, mechanical, electrical, process, geotechnical and other related engineering works.
Key Accountabilities:
To ensure projects meet the appropriate engineering standards as applicable.
To effectively lead a multidiscipline engineering design team.
To ensure the production of design deliverables for water/wastewater projects are to time, within budget and to the appropriate quality.
To liaise effectively with external clients and the project manager.
To liaise internally with other sections and departments to ensure the deliverables are appropriately produced to time, cost and quality.
