Job Description
Experience in the water industry and in Structural design.
Manage and direct site surveys, field investigations and feasibility studies for propsed projects.
Plan, programme and co-ordinate reports on site findings for projects.
Provide techical expertise in Structural design to meet project needs.
Ensure planned project profitability is achieved or exceeded.
Ensure that projects are delivered to the agreed outputs on budget, on time and to quality standards.
Plan, forecast and co-ordinate resources with group managers efficiently.
Maintain up to date technical knowledge of survey, design, drafting, project and contract management standards and techniques.
Liaise with clients and ensure that programmes and projects are managed effectively to ensure delivery in a manner which meets quality, time and budget specifications
Provide technical assistance to staff, including training within specific areas of responsibility and expertise as required.
Reviewing the work of others and remaining focused on important priorities.
Mentor less senior members of the team.
Undertake appropriate research of existing assets and investigation and design modifications / improvements.
Assist with the preperation of expressions of interest and proposals as required.
Act as engineer’s representative to ensure the works are completed in accordance with the contract documents.
Maintain communication and develop ongoing contacts with clients as required
Build relationships with new clients and key stakeholders
Using appropriate software to provide advice, solutions and successful project outcomes for clients.
Complete all work in line with MWH Core Values and in accordance with MWH Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.
